Can we trust Online Dating?

A story about me:
Catherine and I met on July 3, 2006. I had tried other sites and so had she. In fact, she had met and was engaged to another man when she sought another and found me. He had promised more than he could deliver.

Like many others, we chatted several hours every single day from the day we met, with both webcam and microphone, and on July 27 I booked my trip to visit her in September 2006.

Long story short....... we continued our daily chat after my return, she accepted my proposal for marriage, and I returned in November 2006 for over 3 weeks and a marriage. My wife and I continue our daily contacts: phone, webcam, microphone .... and we just await her visa and/or my next of several trips to be with her.

Ancient Chinese proverb: Marry in haste, repent at leisure. I paraphrase it to say: Marry in haste, leisurely enjoy the marriage made in heaven. This is our intent.

Each day we see each other, sing to each other, speak of our children (hers and mine), speak of things a husband and wife should speak of. Mainly, we bless the fates that brought us together here, and now give our lives such fullness, such love, such laughter, so many intangibles.
